"The Knight Before" 22"x28" Signed & Numbered Giclee' Prints

I’ve always loved the 1955 Lincoln Futura. Hand built by Ghia in Italy at a cost of $250,000 (1955 money!) it debuted at ‘55 Chicago Auto Show.
It’s been in movies/films, painted red at one point and ended up at George Barris’s
shop. There’s a whole story with George Barris, Dean Jefferies and Bill Cushenbery on how it got turned into the now famous Batmobile in the mid 60’s.
The concept for this painting is “The Knight Before”… Before Bruce Wayne’s parents were murdered and he turned into Batman before the Futura became the Batmobile.
The painting is set in Gotham City/New York with the Futura symbol flashed up in the night sky as a way of calling for help! (For Batman they used a Bat symbol)
As I said before, I’ve had this painting rattling around in my head for a few years!
