The Tucker 48 was produced in Chicago, Illinois in 1948. Only 51 cars were made. This fastback sedan was styled by Alex S. Tremulis.
Engine was a horizontally opposed 6cyl., 4 wheel independent Torsilastic suspension. 4 speed manual, electronic pre-select transmission. Pop out safety glass windshield. Padded dash and doors.
Just an amazing car far ahead of it's time...
